Brief bio

Dra. Carla Rocha is an assistant professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil. Dr. Rocha holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Laboratoire d’Informatique, de Robotique et de Microélectronique de Montpellier LIRMM, France. She has very broad interests in Software Engineering, including Open Source Software (communities and contributors), Human Aspects of Software Engineering, Empirical Software Engineering, and Mining Software Repositories techniques. She is one of the coordinators of the research group LAPPIS, one of founders of the mentorship program Big Open Source Siblings (BOSS) and she collaborates (or collaborated) with the following groups/institutions in research projects: CCSL (IME-USP), LARA (UnB), Secretaria Especial da Cultura, Media Lab (MIT), C2RMF (Louvre Museum).
